Overview

MailOps is an independent iOS app for monitoring production email APIs. This policy explains what information MailOps collects, how it is used, and how you can manage or delete it. MailOps is not affiliated with Resend, SendGrid, Postmark, Mailgun, Amazon SES, Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, or PostHog.

Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, Supabase user ID, Sign in with Apple identifiers when you use Apple authentication, authentication state, and account settings.
  • Workspace information: workspace names, memberships, roles, notification preferences, provider configuration, selected provider key identifiers, and related app settings.
  • Email provider operational data: provider health, rate limits, delivery events, webhook status, templates, sent and inbound email metadata, logs, domains, contacts, broadcasts, segments, topics, and similar provider resources that you choose to view or sync through MailOps. Depending on the provider response, this can include email addresses, subjects, timestamps, status values, and message or resource details needed to display the app.
  • Credentials and secrets: provider API keys are stored locally in the iOS Keychain on your device and are not synced to MailOps servers. Webhook signing secrets are encrypted before being stored for workspace webhook handling.
  • Notification data: Apple Push Notification service tokens and notification preferences used to deliver workspace email event alerts.
  • Subscription data: Apple and RevenueCat provide entitlement, subscription, purchase, renewal, and restore status. MailOps does not receive your full payment card details.
  • Analytics and diagnostics: app events, feature usage, sign-in events, subscription events, device or app diagnostics, and identifiers such as user ID or email when analytics are configured. MailOps uses this information to understand reliability and improve the product.
  • Technical information: device, operating system, app version, network request metadata, and security logs needed to operate, protect, and debug the service.

How we use information

  • Authenticate your account and keep your session secure.
  • Display provider health, resources, delivery events, and workspace settings.
  • Store workspace preferences and route webhook or push notification events.
  • Manage subscriptions, entitlements, purchases, and restoration.
  • Detect abuse, protect the service, troubleshoot errors, and improve MailOps.
  • Comply with legal, App Store, security, and operational obligations.

Third-party services

MailOps uses third-party services to operate the app. These services may process information according to their own privacy notices and contractual obligations.

  • Apple: App Store distribution, Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, and push notifications.
  • Supabase: authentication, database storage, edge functions, and workspace services.
  • RevenueCat: subscription entitlement management and purchase status.
  • PostHog: product analytics and diagnostic events when analytics are configured.
  • Email providers: Resend and future supported providers process the provider data you access through MailOps.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
  • We do not sync provider API keys to MailOps servers.
  • We do not receive your full Apple payment card details.

Data retention and deletion

MailOps keeps account, workspace, subscription, notification, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain security, comply with obligations, and support normal backup and audit processes. You can request account deletion from inside the app. Deletion removes or disables your account records, workspace memberships, notification tokens, and solo-workspace secrets according to the app's deletion workflow. Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.

Your choices

  • You can remove provider API keys from your device in the app.
  • You can change workspace notification preferences in the app.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • You can request account deletion in the app or contact support for help.

Security

MailOps uses platform security features such as the iOS Keychain, Apple authentication, encrypted transport, access controls, and encryption for stored webhook secrets. No system is perfectly secure, but MailOps is designed to limit server-side exposure of provider credentials.

International processing

MailOps and its service providers may process information in the United States, South Africa, Europe, and other countries where the app, infrastructure, or service providers operate.

Children

MailOps is intended for developers and email operations teams. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as MailOps changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
